Payment FAQs

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage of a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected charges.  For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Do you take insurance?

I do not currently participate in private health insurance plans, a fairly standard approach in the private practice mental health field. This means that you are entirely responsible for payment of services.

There are benefits to paying out of pocket rather than involving insurance companies. These include more collaboration between you and I when treatment planning, no predetermined limit to a number of sessions/services, and not requiring a mental health diagnosis on your health care record to receive treatment.

I may be able to provide the paperwork or superbill necessary for you to obtain "Out-of-Network" reimbursement from your insurance company. They may be able to reimburse you for a portion of your services. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to learn about your benefits for mental health treatment and submit your claims.

What are your fees, and when is payment due?

Please call (931)325-6633 or email (drpaigesebastian@gmail.com) to inquire about fees. The total payment is due by the initial group session or assessment meeting.
