Skills System

Skills System is a 12-week group for challenged learners which creatively and adaptively teaches emotion-regulation tools and practices. Based in dialectical behavioral therapy, SS is an adaptation for individuals with cognitive impairments such as intellectual/developmental disabilities to learn and strengthen mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills.

Survivors of Suicide Attempt

This support group is based on a model created by the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center (SPC). Adult participants meet for about 8 weeks and are provided the opportunity to connect with other suicide attempts survivors. Though the group is primarily intended to provide connection, tools and skills for staying safe from future suicide attempts are also discussed in later weeks.

Depression and Anxiety

This 8-week group is open for anyone who is looking to challenge problematic thoughts and behaviors that perpetuate anxiety and depression. The structure of this group blends mindfulness, cognitive reframing, and peer support to create an experience that best suits the needs of each cohort.
